"Spread out above the heads of the living creatures was what looked like an expanse, sparkling like ice, and awesome. Under the expanse their wings were stretched out one toward the other, and each had two wings covering its body. When the creatures moved, I heard the sound of their wings, like the roar of rushing waters, like the voice of the Almight, like the tumult of an army. When they stood still, they lowered their wings." Ezekiel 1:22-24

When I think of angels I think of God's light. Granted there are dark and evil angels (demons), but those that are messengers of the Lord bring guardianship, protection, grace, love, and all of His commands. This is what I try to portray in them. Some have a very human nature about them, for they are not God's equal, and I sometimes wonder about their struggles and views.
