from the Artist: Hey
everyone! Thanks so much for your patience
this last month or so. Life always has
a way of running from me, I'm sure you
can relate! But alas spring is here (although
we got some snow recently), and all is
well.
The
site has changed it's appearance again, getting
into the mood of foliage for spring and something
fresh. A few things have moved around, but nothing
too far from the original to where you can't
find it.
Another
note worth reading is that the site has generated
a lot of commissions and requests. A great blessing!
So with that event, I have made the difficult
decision to make that a focus on this site.
Now, don't run off quite yet, products, gifts,
and all of those goodies are still available.
I'm going to make sure you get to where you're
going.
So
have fun roaming around this month, I
know it's been awhile, but all is good!

I just finished this 5x7 commissioned
piece last week. I am very pleased with
the outcome and so was my client. We worked
very closely to get the colors figured
out for her, but in the end, through it
all, the piece came together.
I personally greatly enjoy the depth
and how the fish look like they're actually
swimming!

A beautiful 8x10 design. This client
also commissioned "Swan Lake"
and "Sleeping Beauty".
But this time around the character
is her design. The hair is massive,
but as you can tell, I like to get
myself into that mess. ;)

My darling A.T. has left
this earth and moved on.
She was spunky, full of character, annoying,
courageous, loving, supportive, and so
filled with wonder. I am so grateful that
I had the opportunity to watch her be
born, grow up, and have her as my true
partner in crime. I miss her so much and
she will be missed for all time. She was
a member of our block and all who live
near me knew her as "Squeek"
and loved her dearly. She will always
be my baby and I pray the quietness will
be filled with her wonderous memories.
She was an important part of Dreamflier
Studios. She was inspiration, motivation,
and even painted here and there with me.
She would critique and voice when it was
time to take a break.
I Love you sweet pea and I'll see you
when I come home. |
