I believe there are two kinds of mermaids, just like there are two kinds of angels. Those who preserve light and those that demand darkness. The first two mermaids in this gallery are those of the darkness. They are from my past and from a past world I created which is now closed and finished. I place in here in view of what was and what darkness there still stands, and the mermaids I now paint, those of light, as what is and the light that is eternal.
